Patient Rights

Confidentiality

Everything you share in therapy is private. Your information will not be disclosed without your written consent, except in limited circumstances required by law — such as when there is risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

Participation in your care

You are an active partner in your treatment. You have the right to be involved in setting goals, reviewing your progress, and adjusting your care plan at any time.

Right to refuse or discontinue treatment

You may decline any aspect of treatment or end therapy at any time without penalty. We encourage open conversation about any concerns before making that decision.

Access to your records

You have the right to request a copy of your clinical records. Please allow reasonable time for processing. Certain limitations may apply as permitted by law.

Informed consent

You have the right to receive clear information about your treatment — including approaches used, session structure, fees, and any risks or alternatives. You may ask questions at any time, and we will answer them honestly.

Non-discrimination

Branch Lane provides care without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. All clients deserve dignity and respect.
